A Home in the Heart of Grinnell
Stay in one of our unique lofts on Fourth Ave. above Premier Printing and Hair of the Dog or around the corner on Main Street over Hometown Heroes Sports Grill where you can walk to your favorite restaurant, grocery store, coffee shop or bakery, as well as many cute shops. Prairie Lofts are fantastic for a quick college visit or a longer stay so you have all the comforts of home. (Contact us for extended stay --weekly and monthly rates.) We have eight lofts which are all different in size and decor; however, all amenities are the same which include WIFI, DISH Network, full kitchens with dishwashers, air conditioning and two have rooftop patios. Both buildings have keyless entry so check in is a breeze and both buildings have coin operated laundry available for our guests.
We are also Airbnb Hosts so you can book directly with us or on Airbnb.

Downtown Grinnell
Our EAGLE LOFT is our largest with two queen beds, futon, and a comfy couch. The kitchen is down a few steps with plenty of dining space and everything you need to fix your own dinner or have company. It has a lovely bathroom with a large shower and also a half bath.
WIFI and Dish network are standard for all of the lofts and the coin operated laundry is across the hall. There is an alley door which takes you down to the parking behind the building. The keyless entry code will get you in the front and alley door so it is an easy check in.

Parking off the main streets overnight is IMPORTANT to avoid a ticket! The keyless entry code will get you in the front and alley door in Eagle Block and front door on Main St. There are lock boxes up on the wall for your loft which makes for an "easy" check-in.

We are Cynthia and Jack Sherman and have enjoyed rennovating downtown buildings and turning them into fun upper level living. We are happy to have guests who enjoy having some space to relax and cook their own meals for themselves or for their college student who would like a taste of home for a weekend.
